我們角落寶寶隊的組員，因為這次做專題研究的機會，透過對「木匾工藝大鳥師黃耀如」深入地研究探索，不論在匾額工藝或人生的處世態度上，我們得到了很多的啟發，我們心裡都有一個共同的想法：傳統工藝技術的保存，絕對是我們立刻要做的，因為那是在地文化的根本，像木匾工藝這部份，目前都不見有什麼傳統技藝保存的活動，只當它是個行業，但我們要讓有溫度的手工技藝全被機器取代嗎？老師傅們一個一個地老去…，想把一身功力傳給後輩又找不到傳人，趨勢似乎難以抵擋。

黃耀如老師傅身體非常硬朗，人生觀也十分「看得開」，即使這行業可能是落日行業，不過較講究的匾額仍然會找南輝做，他們的工作滿檔沒錯，可是老師傅畢竟也已八十多歲了。 
事實上，在我們與他訪談交往的過程中，我們仍能感受到他的無奈，現在的年輕人能夠專心投入的實在難找，學到出師獨當一面的也越來越少…，真正擁有功力的師傅，個個都不年輕了…，而在我們看來，木匾技藝在臺南可說只剩南輝木匾雕刻處完整地保留。

The masters are not all young... and in our opinion, the raft skills in Tainan can be said to be completely preserved in the carvings of Nanhui Mudu.

這次我們去南輝木匾 雕刻處找黃耀如老師傅做主題介紹，老師傅說：「他十分歡迎我們來，也很喜觀跟我們說話！」，黃媽媽和黃阿姨也在我們研究過程中，熱情地協助，大概第一次有像我們一群年紀這麼小的要來研究木匾的吧！在這兒我們學到了很多，也了解這樣的傳統工藝是多麼值得珍惜…雖然我們都還只是小學生而已，力量不大，但是我們知道「好東西要跟好朋友分享」的道理，今天我們有機緣認識了黃耀如老師傅，也有機會知道了匾額工藝的多樣性，我們可以Do some thing…，把這些「好康」分享出去呀！讓更多的人都認識這門工藝。
所以在我們指導老師的安排下，我們組員啟動了一波簡報任務：「先讓我們周遭的師長同學們都曉得，有這樣美這麼棒的傳統工藝就在我們周遭，不要再漠視或無感於它的存在，而大家都有機會可以去親近木匾工藝。」

Therefore, under the arrangement of our instructors, our team members launched a wave of briefing tasks: "Let us know the teachers and students around us. We have such a beautiful traditional craftsmanship around us. Don't ignore or feel nothing. It exists, and everyone has the opportunity to get close to the raft craft."
我們擬定的作法就是製作一份精美的簡報，然後邀請學校各班來聽我們的介紹，這個部份，老師們幫我們預定了學校的視聽中心，並邀請了很多個班級來聽我們的簡報，為了讓更多小朋友都能知道，我們分成了二組對不同的班級同學做報告，要將黃耀如老師傅的木匾工藝傳薦出去 。

鄭老師說明一個概念：「這不僅不是件可怕的事，相反地是非常有趣的經驗～」，大家到學校來不要只看重學科的考試成績，也要重視一下自己的表達能力，能夠精準有效地傳達自己的想法給很多人，比考試100分還值得你在意呢！

依我們的專題內容製作一份動人的簡報，這也算是一種「美學」，除了自己研究之外，可以主動請老師指導，好的ＰＰＴ輔助下，簡報任務就成功一半了。
依據簡報的各個頁面，想好自己要講的台詞(※要有一個觀念：簡報的畫面是要給觀眾看的，不要把自己想講的台詞都打在上面)，以這個例子來說，這次的簡報是四五個人一起報告，所以擬出了台詞之後，還會討論分配誰講那段，說話的先後順序也事先安排好。
我們這次有個創新的挑戰，就是我們的簡報稿採中英文混合方式～

老師安排我們二組簡報人員多次的練習機會，臨場的指導，針對我們的語調及肢體動作做一些修正意見，對我們很有幫助的，學到了好多…經過老師的一一指導，對於每個人都有不同的要求及指正，因為簡報者本身常忽略自己有些不好的習慣，可能是口語上的或是動作上的，透過老師的提醒，可以有效的改善。

重覆演練，在時間允許的狀況下，可以再排練幾次，每次都針對想要改進的部份去做修正，當然很多技巧沒有辦法一下子就學起來，但練習就能有所進步…在我們這一波好多天的簡報訓練課程中，鄭老師不時用攝影機錄下我們練習的樣子再讓我們看，適時地運用科技來幫助學習，很有效果，經過這一陣子的練習，我們可就算是準備完畢了，就等著老師安排好時間，上場去 ！
